A not so comprehensive study about koreanovelas
for the past two years ive watched a few koreanovelas.. The truth, hearts in bali ,save the last dance, lovers in paris, all about eve, summer scent, full house, sweet18, beautiful days, stained glass and winter sonata. I was going through the stories in my head and ive realized they have a many things in common.
- Airport scene - there's always an airport scene, all the series above have them but for me the most striking is where a girl threw the ring in the fountain I just cant remember if its in winter sonata or beautiful days...
- Girl best friend with character - if you remember the girl with the orange hair in lip or sandy's best friend, or erica's curly friend in hearts in bali..well this is it.
- A pesky relative who likes to spend money - who could forget vivian's uncle, or ericas brother or jamies brother.
- Engagement, wedding or almost scene - carlo's almost engament party to donna and then to vivian, eugene and adrian's engagement party, the almost engament party in summer scent that didnt push through because the girl passed out, traditional wedding in sweet 18, full house.
- Office romance - I have another term for this but never mind anyway ..this is where the lead actor and actress work together in one office, where romance develops and love blooms..yihee..all the serries above have this except sweet18
- "Kaladkad" scene - all the lead actresses have been dragged at least once in each serries.
- Shower scene - this is the part where the lead actor gets to show his stuff...need I say more???
Cant think of anything more ...maybe you have ideas of your own..:)

add to your list, 1.)the villain doesnt die like in the traditional filipino telenovela but they change, either they accept the fact that they cant have the lead actor/actress or they become good friends with the lead and eventually help them out. 2.) may mataray lagi na nanay/tatay or kapatid. pakialamera madalas. 3.) at mga scene na naglalakad sa ulan. sa korean movies marami din niyan :)

a. laklakan scene with the alcoholic drink in green bottles ..i thinks its soju
b. and after the drinking session the pasanan scene..
