its been awhile since i last visited 'star city' and it has changed quite a bit, now there's a second flr and most of the rides are inside the covered area, except for the zyclone, wild river, ferriswheel and this ride that looks like a top....as always i didnt ride anything.  im scared to death of anything unstable, high or sloping and that definitely includes any carnival ride...i could tollerate the "merry go round" or the simpler version of roller coaster... but that's it.  i cant remember if i had a bad experience when i was small....i vaguely remember ridding the ferris wheel with a cousin when i was 4 or 5, and when i reached the top...i yelled for the operator to stop. 

maybe i would  be more adventurous and ride one someday...maybe if somebody would dare me...har har har..

Last Friday night i went out with my TEC friends ..the usual dinner and coffee routine...we havent seen each other in awhile (specially anna and moren) so as expected it was a blast...endless stories about work, love life, school, showbiz...korean stuff, f4 stuff, future plans, outing, travel plans,  latest cellphone models, money matters etc etc...its endless...

i just noticed that...things happen in cycles...like in my case, i have this thing about  the no 6 ...most of my relationships...starts  deteriorating on the 6th year.....every 6 months i would get a terrible flu or cold or cough...

my office mate ana, has just resigned from work and last night we had a farewell dinner in her honor...no..she's not transfering to another work, she just felt like she needed the change...she's been with the company for 5 years....maybe her magic cycle no is 5 instead of my 6...

oh well...its probably coincidence...or im just analyzing too much...har har har...

yesterday was my  mom's 66th birthday, but she doesnt look her age...see for yourself.  We celebrated her birthday going on a north luzon road trip.  We started  last saturday ...from our house in nueva ecija, to manaoag church in pangasinan, to a beach in san fabian, then to baguio the next day back to nueva ecija and back to manila.  whew...it was really tiring but it was definitely worth it.  spending quality time with those you care about is always priceless.
