"tayo na sa antipolo" - march 3, 2007
i actually planned to just stay home the entire weekend and catch up on my sleep....but i guess some things are not meant to be because at around 2pm my cousin gave us a call and told us she'll pick us up at 3pm...then she just hanged up...without even telling us where were going. ....i woudnt be surprised because impulsiveness runs in our family so this kind of thing is considered norm.. :)
as it turned out, she wanted to go to antipolo...we've realized it when we passed robinsons-cainta, sta lucia mall and when i saw the familiar way to antipolo church...with kids trying to race with cars asking the visitors to follow them, so they can lead them to the parking lot...in one condition...visitors have to buy cashew nuts from their store....so familiar :)
it was family tradition to go to antipolo church every may of each year...but its only just march ..kuresoh..weoh?? (so, why?) hmmm...maybe my cousin is praying for her upcomming operation this march...hmm... there's something wrong with her back, when she slipped in her own CR a few years ago and it has been bothering her eversince.
it was raining so hard when we parked in church...luckily there were spare umbrellas on the van...but were 4 (me, cousin, sister and niece) so we have to share....i told my cousin..."now were really going to be blessed because were having a hard time just to go here" ...actually we were literally blessed by the pouring rain....
after the mass, we bought roasted cashew nuts to eat on the way home...yum yum...
this is the altar inside the church
from left to right , is my cousin (we call her ditse), my sister (lally), and my niece (ditse's daughter evita)
and this is me....outside the church
