first time
15 december 2006, tagaytay
last friday we had our 2006 team building and christmas party in tagaytay.
we started out at around 10am with a boat ride from taal lake yatch club resort to the foot of the volcano...then we climbed the volcano for about an hour....had lunch and picture taking at the top....went down...... took another boat ride back to TLYC, had heavy merienda and a few beers at leslies... then headed off to days hotel to party!
over all the event was a roaring success...everyone had so much fun....specially me ...i would never forget that day because of the many "first time" that happened ...... first time to:
1. wear a life jacket while riding a boat..ive had my share of boat rides but this is the first time i had to wear a life jacket...maybe people thought my "sam gyup sal" can serve as life jacket during emergency (non korean crazy people wont get this joke!)
2. get thrown off a horse...oh horsey...wherever you are im soooorrry! its my fault..really! too bad we dont have this in film....i was just too shocked and out of my wits shouting "mommy mommy" and elbert was too busy holding on to me when it happened ..so we were not able to take out our cameras...the video could have made it to bitoys funniest...oh well...better luck next time.
3. ride a horse .....i kinda like the bouncing sensation you get when riding a horse....i think its a great stress reliever... and although i was scared and kept on chanting "horsey be nice...nice horsey" (there was one time it felt as if the horse is going to go straight and jump off the cliff.)..i really had a good time.
4. climb a mountain (although technically its a volcano) .....i can now relate to the satisfaction climbers get when they climb a mountain....it was so difficult...(correction it was darn difficult)... but the view at the top is definitely worth it
going up..we stopped to take pictures but its more of... "were too tired so we have to stop and heck..might as well take pictures"..and although im smiling...im actually hyperventilating in between pics

5. not finish 1 mcdonalds quarter pounder burger - because im too tired to eat when i reached the top
6. visit days hotel in tagaytay (and actually took a shower in one of the rooms...i didnt answer the phone..swear to God!)
the party was a blast...we were singing, dancing, eating and drinking non stop... one thing unique about this crowd is that everybody was game enough to sing a song...dance or simply jump up and down!
7.hmm....hmmm...sigh...sigh....ill keep this 7th first to myself for awhile.... :)
...it was such a fun filled day....they said we'll do it again this april...but this time we'll go to the beach....yipee! ...so..PUERTO GALLERA WATCH OUT , HERE WE COME!
