the myth
since the age of 10, ive always fancied myself half inlove with jacky chan, i dont think anyone can blame me.....1. he's cute, 2. he's funny, 3. he seemed nice 4. he's very good in martial arts...sigh...hey i would mary the guy anytime...as if ???
yesterday i watched his latest movie "the myth" and it was realy good. i specially liked the fight scenes, the leading lady (she's so pretty) and ofcourse jacky. ***spoiler comming up*** i dont like the ending though, and for those who know me..you know why :)
my favorite scenes:
a. when ok su danced for meng yi wearing a flowing gown with the mountain as a background.
b. when general meng yi died - i was surprised that i liked this scene at all, coz its quite gorry for my taste.
c. when jack jumped off the falls - maybe because this reminds me so much of doing back rolls whenever i go scuba diving...although what he did was much much difficult
d. fight scene on top of a very sticky machine floor - hilarious, typical jacky chan signature fight scenes.
e. when jack fist saw the floating palace/castle
in this movie, jack lives on a ship which he converted to a house. this ship is anchored in hongkong near this landmark.

bahura, batok and beatrize
i went diving again last Oct 29, and this time we visited 3 dive sites that starts with the letter B.
we started out with "bahura" - this is one of the nicest dive site in anilao. one thing i noticed about the sea scape is the color....everything is either violet, lavander or purple...the corals, the plants, the sea floor... i dont know if its just the lights playing with the sea effect, but every single thing out there is violet inspired.
our maximum depth is 106ft, the water is very cold, and there's mild to moderate current everywhere...we have to crawl near the flr most of the time...our exit and safety stop was quite exciting...we were holding on to each other's bc, twirling round and round in "blue water"..it was quite scary.
our next dive is at "batok" all the way to "beatrize" - our max depth is 80ft, the water is cold as usual. one thing i remember clearly about this dive are the fishes. i saw a school of small identical fishes swimming around me in an identical motion...every 15 seconds they would do a sudden turn and they do it all at the exact same time...it was adorable.
and now for the pictures:
this is mike (our dm) teaching baby (boyet's wife) how to dive, while boyet watch on the sidelines
we passed a cute island along the way ..and when i asked what its called ..they said "sombrero island" ..hmm.. how appropriate
this is me underneath all that sunscreen, taken by my official photographer
me again at the outrigger deck taken by my official photographer
..and this is my official photographer, CJ (boyet's kid)...in one of his inquisitive moments he asked me if i have children. i said "no, im not even married yet", he said, i should get married and have children...imagine that! a 6 year old giving me advice...on my love life...:)
